Reading Club – March

You can join The Red Rock Public Library’s Reading Club at any time!

Our theme for March is:
“Constellations of Connection”
Exploring the invisible threads that connect us across time, space and circumstances.
Stories that invite us to look at the way lives can intersect through coincidence, fate and unexpected bonds. It’s about the patterns we only see when we step back, the relationships that return, and connections that are guided by something larger than ourselves.

Our meeting will take place April 15th, so come and visit our Reading Club dedicated display to choose your title!

The Reading Club works like this:
We’ve selected a diverse range of books from The Red Rock Public Library’s collection with a theme in common, covering different genres, cultures, periods, etc.
After a few weeks we’ll meet at the library to discuss the books we read over some light refreshments!
The guidelines are informal- you can read more than one of the book selections if you are an avid reader (but please only borrow one book at a time!) Busy month and you couldn’t finish your pick? You can still join us to discuss our reading!

Visit the library, email rrockib@gmail.com or call 807-886-2558 to register at any time!
This program is for 18+

I Love Red Rock Punch Card Challenge

The Red Rock Public Library is introducing an ALL NEW spring challenge, open to all residents of Red Rock- all ages and abilities!

Stop by the library starting April 1 to pick up your I ❤️ Red Rock Punch Card!

This program is designed to encourage residents to go outside, get exercise, engage in the community, support local businesses, utilize the library, connect with friends and neighbours, and foster a sense of hometown pride!
Because we all know that Red Rock is the BEST place to live!

So here’s the fun part- enjoying Red Rock is how you fill your I ❤️ Red Rock punch card(s)!
And win PRIZES!

Here’s how it works:
1. When you pick up your first punch card, we will supply you with a list of suggestions on how you can collect punches
(Some examples: Walk your dog down to the marina, borrow a book from the library, etc)
2. Write down the actions you complete on your punch card
(You can come up with your own activities on how you’re appreciating your town, too!)
3. Return to the library for your punches whenever it is convenient for you- whether you have completed one activity or all six!

The more activities you complete between April 1 and May 29th, the more chances you have to win PRIZES!
Six activities completed = one full punch card!
One full punch card = one entry to win PRIZES!
You can fill as many punch cards as you want before the challenge ends May 29th!

And our prizes have been procured from amazing Red Rock businesses! Don’t miss out!

We are eternally grateful to our generous sponsors for this program, The Friends of The Red Rock Public Library and Tanners Lawn & Drive ❤️

For now will be collecting recipes for a few weeks, and we will make an announcement when the Community Recipe Board is open for everyone to access and enjoy!
