Reading Club – March

You can join The Red Rock Public Library’s Reading Club at any time!

Our theme for March is:
“Constellations of Connection”
Exploring the invisible threads that connect us across time, space and circumstances.
Stories that invite us to look at the way lives can intersect through coincidence, fate and unexpected bonds. It’s about the patterns we only see when we step back, the relationships that return, and connections that are guided by something larger than ourselves.

Our meeting will take place April 15th, so come and visit our Reading Club dedicated display to choose your title!

The Reading Club works like this:
We’ve selected a diverse range of books from The Red Rock Public Library’s collection with a theme in common, covering different genres, cultures, periods, etc.
After a few weeks we’ll meet at the library to discuss the books we read over some light refreshments!
The guidelines are informal- you can read more than one of the book selections if you are an avid reader (but please only borrow one book at a time!) Busy month and you couldn’t finish your pick? You can still join us to discuss our reading!

Visit the library, email rrockib@gmail.com or call 807-886-2558 to register at any time!
This program is for 18+

Little Librarian

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a librarian?
The Red Rock Public Library wants to put you to work!
Apply to be a Little Librarian!

For kids ages 6-12

Visit The Red Rock Public Library today and fill out an application!

Once selected, you will come to the library and create your very own book display! You can create your display based on any theme you want (think things like: space, travel, nature, graphic novels, kindness… be creative!) using books from the library, props found in the library or brought from home*, and by adding crafts or artwork!
You will be interviewed about your display and interests, and your interview plus a photo with your display will be posted on our social media!

*For any display items brought from home please keep in mind the library is a public space and displays will not be continuously monitored- do not bring anything of value as the library holds no responsibility if something goes missing. Thank you!

Displays will be up in the library for approximately one month, then rotated to the next Little Librarian’s display. We aim to allow for ALL applicants to have a turn working as a Little Librarian!

Contact the library for more information!
