DESCRIPTION:Wednesday April 1st 2026 is Library Giving Day!\n#LibraryGivingDay is a one-day fundraising event with the goal of encouraging people who depend on and enjoy public libraries to donate to their library. And in turn\, that support will go toward incredible library programs\, services and materials.\nFor more information: \nSupport Your Library \n \nThis Library Giving Day\, help keep The Red Rock Public Library a vibrant and thriving hub of connections\, information\, care and fun! \nThe Friends of The Red Rock Public Library will be collecting donations for Library Giving Day on Wednesday April 1st!\nYou can make donations in cash at the library or send an email money transfer to: friendsoftherrpl@gmail.com\nAny donation big or small will be accepted with love and gratitude\, and put towards keeping the library flourishing and providing for our community! \nWhat might your donation go towards?\nThe Friends of The Red Rock Public Library’s main goal and interest is to promote and raise money to fund library events and other needs\, and to see our library succeed and grow. Your generous donation could go towards any number of things that The Friends provide for The Red Rock Public Library! \nThe Friends are an integral part of supporting and promoting our services to the community. They finance much of our children’s programming; supplying funds for materials\, snacks and prizes. They offer monetary support to help us provide local author visits\, Attendance Draw prizes\, seniors luncheons\, our Virtual Author Presentations platform\, and workshops of all sorts\, for all ages. They often provide physical items where the Library budget lacks; such as reading chairs\, meeting chairs\, display materials\, and bookshelves. \nThe Friends of the Red Rock Public Library also partners with the Red Rock Historical Society to provide specific historical programs and periodicals\, they continually support local groups\, and they purchase as much as possible from Red Rock vendors- keeping their fundraising monies in the community! \nDone through their sponsorship of programs and materials\, as well as their ongoing promotion of Library offerings through their social media platforms\, The Friends support and assist the Library to achieve the 3 strategic goals outlined within the Red Rock Public Library’s Strategic Plan.\n-Contribute to local quality of life\n-Raise awareness of library offerings\n-Diversify library programs and collections \nThis Library Giving Day\, we hope you will give to The Red Rock Public Library! \nThank you ❤️

DESCRIPTION:The Red Rock Public Library is introducing an ALL NEW spring challenge\, open to all residents of Red Rock- all ages and abilities! \nStop by the library starting April 1 to pick up your I ❤️ Red Rock Punch Card! \nThis program is designed to encourage residents to go outside\, get exercise\, engage in the community\, support local businesses\, utilize the library\, connect with friends and neighbours\, and foster a sense of hometown pride! Because we all know that Red Rock is the BEST place to live! \nSo here’s the fun part- enjoying Red Rock is how you fill your I ❤️ Red Rock punch card(s)! And win PRIZES! \nHere’s how it works:\n1.  When you pick up your first punch card\, we will supply you with a list of suggestions on how you can collect punches\nSome examples:\nWalk your dog down to the marina\nBorrow a book from the library\nEnjoy a meal at Melly Bees\nTell a Credit Union team member how much you appreciate them\n2.  Write down the actions you complete on your punch card. (You can come up with your own activities on how you’re appreciating your town\, too!)\n3.  Return to the library for your punches whenever it is convenient for you- whether you have completed one activity or all six! \nThe more activities you complete between April 1 and May 29th\, the more chances you have to win PRIZES!\nSix activities completed = one full punch card!\nOne full punch card = one entry to win PRIZES!\nYou can fill as many punch cards as you want before the challenge ends May 29th! \nAnd our prizes have been procured from amazing Red Rock businesses!
