Kids! Wanting to engage in a little friendly competition this summer? Participate in our Active Kids Summer Showdown July 6th to August 28th!

We want to see what you are doing to stay active this summer! Send us pictures of yourself in action!

There is no need to register for this program- but you can pick up a list of “get active” suggestions at the library if you need help getting started!
Some ideas of what you could do:
Go swimming
Try a new sport
Ride to the marina and back on your bike
Play at the park
Clean your room 5 times
Spend an entire day with no screens
Go fishing

Every photo submitted of you being ACTIVE is an entry to win a prize! See if you can beat your friends! We will tally the entries at the end of the summer and share our results!

This contest is open to Red Rock residents aged 0-17

Email your photo evidence, along with your name and contact info to:

*send a description of what you did along with your photo- we know some actions might be tough to catch on camera!*

Enter as many times as you can! Photo submissions can be sent at any time before August 28th!

Final counts will be shared and random prize draws will take place the first week of September!

This program is aimed to encourage kids to go outside, get exercise, take screen breaks, engage in the community, visit with friends and neighbours, and get the most out of their summer!
