DIY/Repurpose Challenge

July 6 - August 28
Red Rock, we want to see something new from you this summer.  Looking for an inexpensive way to make some updates in your backyard?  What about starting to collect rainwater instead of using town water to take care of your gardens?  Did your neighbour add some whimsy to their home and you want to try your hand?
Participate in our DIY / Repurpose Challenge July 6th to August 28th!
Send us pictures of your innovative ideas and projects- in gardens and landscaping, crafts, or home decor!  It might be items you repurposed or traded with someone else, updates you made with materials you had or acquired for free, or ways you prioritized the environment through repurposing or DIY!
This contest is open to Red Rock residents aged 18+
Email photos of your projects, along with your name and contact info to:
Be sure to include a description along with your photo!
Each photo/project submitted enters you into a draw to win a prize at the end of the summer!  No limit on how many times you can enter as long as you are submitting a new project each time!
Photo submissions can be sent at any time before August 28th!
Your projects will be shared and random prize draws will take place the first week of September!
This program is intended to encourage Red Rock residents to get creative, think “outside the box”, trade and share ideas with friends and neighbours, experience the value in reusing, gain a sense of pride over prioritizing the environment, and save some money!

Good luck and have fun!

This program is generously sponsored by The Friends of The Red Rock Public Library and Tanners Lawn and Drive.
